Due to the world-wide Coronavirus outbreak, we decided to postpone SBDM 2020.
Presentation
The Tenth International Symposium on Biology of Decision Making (SBDM 2020) was initially scheduled to take place on May 27-29, 2020 in Paris, France. It has been postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The dates will be announced later, most likely late May 2021. The first two days of conference will take place at the Institut du Cerveau et de la Moelle, 47 Boulevard de l'Hôpital, 75013 Paris. The third day will take place at Ecole Normale Supérieure, 29 rue d'Ulm, 75005 Paris.
The objective of this three-day symposium will be to gather people from different research fields with different approaches (economics, ethology, psychiatry, robotics, neural and computational approaches) to decision making.
The conference will include 6 sessions:
1. Facing the consequences of one's decisions (Chair: Patrick Haggard) 2. Decision-making manipulations in labs and clinics (chair: Mathias Pessiglione) 3. Decision-making in computational modeling, robotics and AI (Chairs: Kenji Doya, Mehdi Khamassi) 4. Compared cognition across primate species (Chair: Sébastien Bouret) 5. Scarcity and decision making (Chair: Coralie Chevallier) 6. Mutual benefits: Incorporating learning rules in sequential sampling models (Chair: Birte Forstmann)

Update due to COVID-19 outbreak
As of March 18, we decided to postpone SBDM 2020. The precise dates will be announced later but we are assuming late May 2021, in Paris, hopefully with the same list of session chairs and speakers.
All registered participants who have paid for their participation, will be fully refunded.
All invited speakers who have already made travel expenses and who cannot get fully refunded by their train/plane operator, will be fully refunded.
However, the ICM accounting department will require several weeks before the refund will take place due to the full quarantine situation that France is currently undergoing.
You will be informed immediately once more information is known.
